Reset button uses:
The reset button on the console is modified to offer new functions based on how long the reset button is held down. While pressed the front ports will light up to show which state you are currently in.
1. Holding for 0 to 3 seconds will perform the same action as on a stock console. In this state the LEDs will be on solid.
2. Holding for 4 to 6 seconds will disconnect all connected Bluetooth controllers In this state the LEDs will be slowly blinking.
3. Holding for 7 to 9 seconds will enable pairing mode. In this state the LEDs will be blinking fast.
4. Holding for 10 seconds or more will factory reset to the original firmware and remove any custom configs. In this state the LEDs will be blinking rapidly.
5. Hold reset button while powering on the console will cause the bluetooth adapter to be in sleep mode. It will not interfere with the console when in use, in the event that a peripheral is not working correctly.
Note:
For quick paring, power off the SNES and then quickly power it on again. This will enable the pairing mode. Otherwise holding the reset button for 7 to 9 seconds will preform the same action.
